Eccleston Park is an 18 hole parkland course situated in Rainhill, Merseyside, close to the Cheshire border. It is easily accessible from the M62 and M57 motorways, and also the East Lancs Road (A580). The club provides the perfect location for golf and events of all kind, and offers excellent value for money.
After significant re-development over the past 2 years, the course is now a testing 6477 yard par 71. It is reasonably flat and therefore easy going on all golfers, especially the more senior player.
The water features and fairway bunkers make this course a challenging test for golfers of all abilities. The 7th hole has been extended to a par 5 measuring 491 yards, and the 18th has been reshaped and lengthened to make a dog-leg par 4 closing hole.
The former 19th century clubhouse has been redeveloped to combine the original welcoming character of yesteryear, with all the advantages of state-of-the art facilities for functions and conferences.
Adjacent to the course is the woodland trust, an area set aside for people to get out and enjoy the woodlands that surround the course.
